Great start!!

You need a tripod w/ a long shutter speed. If you don't have a tripod handy, get a steady platform & rest it there, put the timer on and will use long shutter speed. Since I'm using digital & it doesn't cost me anything for film, I do a 10sec, 15sec & 30sec shutter & sort through it later.

Hahaha, you're telling me. I'll see if my mom has a tripod because I'm pretty sure there is no way she could take quality pictures without having blurred images

Just took off my running board. I didn't use WD-40 for the fronts (the ones where you attach the mud flaps to) therefore I have decided to spray it with WD-40 and leave it overnight. I will tackle the issue again tomorrow after school. It just won't come off, lol. But other than that, it's a huge success. Still getting used to not using the running board

Give it a few days and you'll wonder how you ever lived with the running boards on! I think it makes a huge difference and has been one of my favorite mods. Next up for me is sanding down and painting the chrome bumpers once I'm done repainting all the black plastic valence and trim pieces like the rear mud flaps. That's another mod you could consider, spray painting the valence and other plastic trim to spruce things up a little bit.

Haha, IMO it's a lot easier with the running boards off because i can just easily get out of the truck without having to touch them. It feels great and it looks awesome too! I will be sure to off road sometimes if I ever find a place to off road legally.

Also, there are some notable grease mark or some sort of mark that cannot be washed off with soap and water. I am not quite sure what to do with that even though it's not that big of a deal and it is not notable unless you're like on the floor looking at the marks. I'm hoping the fronts will come off tomorrow because I feel a little bit uneasy with having an half assed 4Runner with no fronts even though I have the back ones on my 4Runner
