The running boards are very easy to remove.

White was my first color choice- never fades, stays the coolest in hot weather, and most importantly it has been shown to be the safest car color because it is the easiest to see in all light conditions.

Oh and I think it looks good too.

But I ended up with a silver 4runner because the 4WD 5 speed 4cyl engine combo is so hard to find I didn't think I should be picky. Still trying to figure out whether mine is Desert Dune or Millenium Silver, I think it is the latter...

If the color code is 1A5 then it is Desert Dune.

Yup, I wasn't easy finding the front mud flap up here in canada either. Every dealer I went to said there was no such thing. I finally found one that could get them and they wanted over a 100. I ended up grabbing them from 1sttoyotaparts.com for 30-40bucks.

I only got a white one because i live in AZ it does help to stay a little cooler. If i had a color choice it would be black or the purple.
