Looks good without the running boards! Hard to see the grille but it looks like maybe you painted it gloss black?? I think it would have looked nice if it were color-matched but as for the black I'll have to see it in the day.

yeah, it is gloss black. i agree about the color matching but that would have been a lot harder to match up. this was pretty easy to do and i am planning to get black bumpers so it won't look quite as out of place. i was just getting sick of the chrome

It'll definately look good with black bumpers too! Are you into offroading at all. If that is the direction you are wanting to go with your 4Runner then I think that rhinolining (or some other type of bedliner) the bumpers would look sweet too. I've seen it done on lighter colored runners.
