Hey, sorry for the late reply.

You will be able to fit 265's no problem, but if you're like most and want a 3" lift plus 285's, you will have to get wheel adapters to stick them out a tad further. They won't clear the upper control arms otherwise, I've heard.

That one was my old 4runner, sold it a few months ago, but definitely one of my favorite colors, and it looked awesome imo with the stock wheels painted gray
 
I wouldn't mind eventually painting my wheels just a tad darker gunmetal but still keeping the color on the lighter side but age has beaten up my center caps a bit and instead of simply repainting them I went with this option which the idea I stole from another member but I think they look pretty decent for an $8 mod.
I eventually plan on looking for a less abused set of center caps or just go with new ones and paint them to my liking.

LOL ya I remember back in high school where I grew up white spokes were the thing to have. I have thought bout painting them but black is out as everyone has black wheels now days, thinking bout painting them the same as the sliders. What's your thoughts?
 
Gunmetal/grey would look the best IMO against the green body. Green wheels might be too much green. I'm used to the white now too. I think it's cool because no one else has that (at least that I can think of).

I'm trying to remember the brand that the spokes were longer and were welded directly to the rim. There wasn't a web between them at the rim.

It seems like their logo has a cartoon rat.

And they were very heavy duty with the spokes being a full 1/4 inch thick I had a set on my scout but got them used and never new the brand name.
