Pikes Peak and Hacket Gulch Trip

We drove to the top of Pike Peak yesterday. It was a great day, nice and clear views from the top.

Next was off to the newly re-opened Hacket Gulch trail. We drove all the way to the big rock slab. We could have gone further but didn't want to since we were the only rig in there. The Hayman burn area seems to be recovering nicely. Lots of undergrowth and Aspens appear to be taking the place of all the burnt pines.

We ended the day with a trip to Deckers and then over to Sedalia for a stop at Bud's Bar and a double cheese (best burger around).

I got the new sliders installed but didn't get a chance to use them on this trip.

CO 4R's, we will have to have a group run this fall.
