Pinched Winch Remote Cord - Shorted?

Gents,
My son was helping me use the winch (Smittybilt XRC 9500) and he got the remote cord caught between the roller and cable. The cord was an easy repair. Plugged back in and get nothing...like there is no power to it. Is there a fuse I blew? I googled it and didn't find many answers. Help?

The winch instructions do not show a fuse, so unless you added one, there is none. So either your cable repair wasn't as easy as you thought, or maybe something shorted and fried in the solenoid box or other wiring.

Thanks....I called Smittybilt. Turns out there is an inline fuse inside the control box. I have to check that and they sent me a complimentary replacement remote. Great customer service!
