Been watching the Satellite radio thread, didn't see an answer to your last question, don't know if you found out how to get to your cig lighter power port to tap it, so I found this (from others here)

The title of that page is "how to remove/access the factory nav system" but the first few instructions are about breaking down the console - which is exactly where you need to be to access the cig lighter power wires. It is very easy, I could tell you in a couple of lines, but I figure pictures are worth a thousand words.
