Anyone ever tried something like this while offroading to protect their rig from the inevitable pinstriping that occurs in some locals?

Got my first minor pinstripes the other day and it got me wondering what people who are a bit paranoid about damaging the paint on their brand new trucks but still want to take them off road and use them for what they are maid for...

I've seen some people use them. The only thing you need to worry about is it a branch hook onto the edge of one and peels it off unknowingly......then you're out a magnet strip.

Depending on the cost, it may be a good idea for you.

The other alternative would be a full body wrap of the clear bra/film. But that can get expensive, upwards of a few thousand. A lot of exotic car owners opt for that route.
