Pirelli Scorpion ATR comments?

As I continue my quest for the ultimate A/T tire that balances good on-road and off-road performance, my ever-shrinking list now includes the Pirelli Scorpion ATR.

Tirerack reviews are pretty good and they're supposed to be a lot better than the old Scorpion AT, both in terms of treadlife and performance. Tread pattern is Revo-like but slightly less aggressive, which is also encouraging and suggests good highway performance.

Has anyone had any experience with this tire? Any comments appreciated.

I had a set of Michelin LTX A/Ts on my last suv & loved 'em. Quiet, good on road, stout enough for moderate+ off-road and lasted over 90,000 miles. I'm probably going to go with them again.

Alas, the Michelin LTX do not come in the stock T4R SE size (265/65/17). The only Michelins I was considering were the CrossTerrains, but they're fundamentally a road tire and don't really offer much in the way of off-road ability.

If you really plan on off roading (more than moderate) then get the Nittos since I've driven a Tacoma with the pirellis and they didn't have the dry grip on pavement and in the snow they were average plus they cost the same. I'd also give Revos a nod if I put more miles a month on pavement but with me only averaging 600-700 miles a month the Nittos will last me a while.
