Pizza cutters?

Does anybody think the 255-80-17 (33"x10") would look a little too thin on a 5 gen? I have the 265-70-17 KM2's which I love but with a new lift I'm moving up with the KM2.

My intention would be to keep weight, rolling resistance, and engine lug down a little over the 285-70-17. This truck sees dirt all the time but it's also a highway cruiser.

I think the skinnies look fine on a 4th gen but the 5th is bulkier so I wonder. I really can find no pictures with searching so would appreciate peoples opinions.

I was really looking at this size for my eventual setup. The only thing that swayed me from this is the fact that the km2 is a mud tire and all though they are a good mud tire for the highway, I didn't feel like I would be able to put up with the noise or handling characteristics on road trips. Otherwise If that size were made in an AT, I would have done it.

they look a little thin on tacomas and the 5th gen 4runners wider (wheel wells) then them, so I think they would look very thin.

I was concerned about the same thing but in my case have had no issue with the 265-70-17 KM2. I love the tires and they grip so well off-road. I am really heading in the tall and skinny direction.

Thanks mgrande as that pic helps. I would at least want to run my current spacers or a correct offset to set the wheels out. I think that tacoma looks ok.

I just put 255/75r17s on mine and while they do look just a touch skinny I don't think it looks bad at all.

Wheel spacers might be a nice addition though.
