Place to purchase a Toyota Security/ Keyless System for a 97

Well here it goes and Ive already done a search. Im looking for the factory security/keyless system for a 1997 4runner SR5. I have the power locks and windows but would like to add keyless entry. I have found one on sale for a 2000 to 2002 but not sure if i could mod it to work with the 97 does anyone know? Anyway if not does anyone know where i can find the best price on one. Ive looked at alot of sites and looking through their parts section/accessories I cant find a thing for a 97... Any help would be greatly appriciated.

check with a toyota dealer around you and if its over $200(which it could be because toyotas keyless entry also has an alarm) then you should seriously think about a keyless entry, remote start, such as viper, python or clifford, all running anywhere from $189 - $800

I found a 4runner security system for a 2000-2002 for $56 NEW!!! if it would fit i would be all for it.

You can check any Circuit City or Best Buy in town.

I myself have been looking and i have found alot of nice deals on security and keyless entry at those places with great instillation

those places are great with installation???? are you kidding, circuit city is but stay the heck away from best buy!

I have just had good luck i was mostly talking about Ciruit City i have never had anything installed at Best Buy......

So i'll take your word for it
