Plasma Ion Crystal Fog Lights

Just installed the new PIAA H4 bulbs into the 2008 Limited and they look great. The yellow color projected is just what I wanted for the fog lights and looking at the lamps, you see a nice rainbow effect because of the ion crystal design. They really compliment the HID's and the Nautical Blue exterior of the 4Runner. Now to go find some fog.

thats not that bright, check out mines , 55watt 5000k hid in the head, and 35watt 2000k hid in the fogs.

I think you are basing your comment on the exposure of the camera, not the actual brightness of the lights. My HID's are 55W 4300K, which are actually brighter than 5000K's. The fog lights are 55W. I bracketed (stopped down) the shot to show a bit more of a color comparison rather than just letting the lights blast like in this other photo.

If anything, the PIAA Ion's look better than the 2000K HID kit. It may possibly be because no reputable companies make a 2000K HID kit, only 3000K HID kits, but maybe that's just my opinion.

BTW, I am ordering a set of the PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow bulbs for my truck right now, to go with my 4300K HID kit. Found a pair on Ebay for about $50 brand new, conveniently about 10 miles from where I live. Should have them in by tomorrow or the next day, hopefully they look good. The ones I ordered off ebay yesterday arrived today since they were only coming from 15-20 miles away. I threw them in when I got home from work tonight, and they look awesome. You were right about the rainbow effect. They look great with my 4300K HID kit above them.Thanks again for the pics.
