Plast Dip chipping wheels

Would plasti dip make these sport wheels look less damaged?

Curious about this as well. My spare looks like this and I wouldn't want to run it without doing something. What sort of pre-paint would be best?

Is this from some previous paint chipping away?

You could scrap that off as best you can and hit it with some plasti-dip. Be sure to get the wheel as clean as you can before putting on the dip.

The 4th gen wheels are notorious for corroding. I have a set of 17 inch sport wheels imy garage that looks identical. I will be stripping them and refinishing them one day.

Ooooooh, okay. I didn't even know that. I guess most persons have after market wheels anyway. I'm in SoCal, so I haven't had an issue with my stock ones yet.
