Plasti Dip, OME lift, and Pictures!

So, posting pictures so you all can see the wonder that is Topanga. Yes, her name is Topanga. And we have a very strong love/hate relationship, lol. Leaning towards hate right now, since I took the tires off and discovered a torn CV boot. :flip off: Probably should have ordered a drop diff kit, right? Wish somebody would have mentioned that! Ah, well, all in the learning curve. But, that's what good, strong, 8.2% Lagunitas beer is for. At 2:30 in the afternoon.

So, this is what a '95 looks like with OME front/rear shocks, OME coils, and BJ spacers. Oh, on 265/75/16 BFG A/T. American Racing rims, btw. Crappy phone pictures are the best.

AND I'm Plasti Dip-ing my rims today! Whoo! On the second coat now, about to go out and do the third.

Also, the rims have a little hub cap thing-a-mah-bob in the middle, which I might leave chrome. Undecided about leaving the lug nuts chrome, or painting them black.

I like contrasting colors, a light color down low makes the truck look taller, so I'd say leave the caps and lug nuts chrome! But then again, murdered out wheels are still in, right?
It'd look good either way

Wolf_Girl, I've already held the caps up to the rims, lol. I think I'm going to leave them chrome, they look sick against the black! The lug nuts, I'm not sure about. Too much fun changing colors! And I scrubbed off all the rust on the grill guard, looks WAY better.

Truck looks good! A set of manual hubs will help those CVs last.

Yea, trying to figure out about the CV's, I need new ones, and was thinking manual hubs would be the way to go. Especially since I don't do much in 4 wheel, it would be nice to not have to worry about wearing them out. Can't wait to post pictures tomorrow with everything put back together!
