plasti dip question

Just discovered plasti dip, anyways I wanted to paint my emblems black but am thinking maybe just plasti dip them? I went to ACE and they were out of the spray paint but they had the can to dip it, would it work right if I got a paint brush and just painted them with the plasti dip? thanks

Can't imagine brushing it on but it might work? Sprayed all the chrome on my wife's Sienna SE and I was very happy with the outcome and it's holding up well.

Get the spray paint, just spray it on let it dry and peal off the surroundings and use a tooth pick to peal off the center of the lettering. Id tape off the area so you dont have a lot to peal off.

Ok I think Ill get the spray paint, any know if painting the rear license plate platic part that goes around it would make it look any darker then it is now?

Brushing it will leave, well, brush marks.

Plastidip is awesome. Just be careful. You might get addicted.

You can make the license plate trim darker. I've found a lot of color options via Amazon. Dipyourcar.com also has multiple color options from clear, to smoke to black to fluorescent.
