So over the weekend I decided to plasti-dip all the lettering on my 3rd-gen...and yes I know I missed the emblem thats for today lol... Looking for honest thoughts.

I went with black on black myself. It goes with my black out theme with dark windows.

It looks alright. Kind of clashes with the yellow sticker. That being said, I'd pull the decals off completely before I took the sticker off!

I think it looks good with red. I'm tired of seeing black-out everything where I'm from. Everyone and their mom's mom does black out emblems, smoke tailites, black rims... it's really un-original.

IMO i think it looks good. I would take off the yellow sticker though. Black emblems on a black truck look good but are barely visible. That being said I wouldn't plasti-dip anything red if its not a black truck. Nice work

If you're just asking for opinions, I think it looks very tacky.

Including the sticker, paint, chrome, faded black trim, rust, red lettering, etc I can count over 10 different colors on the rear of your 4runner. Way too much going on.

If I had a black 4Runner I would look up that tutorial that shows you how to paint them like the black pearl emblems.

The better question is, do YOU like it? I mean it's your 4Runner, you could paint each letter a rainbow-assortment of colors and it doesn't matter what other people think.
