Plastic Dipping Wheels on a 2016

Here's my 2016 SR5 Premium, I eventually want to get some bigger wheels, I was at 4 Wheel Parts and without a lift the biggest they could go on the 2016 was 265 or 275. I was wondering if I should buy the new tires then dip or if I could go ahead a dip the wheels now and buy the tires in a couple months? Also, what do you guys think, I'm planning on dipping the wheels, Toyota emblem on grill, Toyota emblem and 4Runner on back and the silver roof rack rails. Going for the all black look.

I like the emblems blacked out. Just did my front emblem in Bedliner. Not sure about how to do side and rear.

I murdered everything, including the luggage rack. It is pretty rugged after it cures for a few days but I would wait until after the new tires are on because mounting them will probably tear the coating.

That's a sweet ride bro! I can get the tires, emblems, and rails professionally done for $160. I may just go ahead with it as it may be a while before I do end up buying the tires. I just wasn't sure if I wanted to go all black everything but after seeing pics I'm feeling the all black look. What kind of tires do you got on your truck?

I had my 4Runner for one year and we absolutely love the ride. This Toyota SUV is exceptionally manufactured by Japanese engineers that understand quality and durability. It rides very quietly and powerfully. The navigation and is great. Very reliable and tough.

Here's the update: I had all badges, rails and wheels dipped black today.
The pictures are missing the roof rails because they were off and the dip was drying. I'll upload a pic with the rails on tomorrow once I get some daylight.

Next up, window tint next week.

Looks great !! I just did my wheels, think I'm going to get the black over lay emblems, plasti dip on letter ps can be tricky. Love the all black roof rails also !
