Plastidip Idea.. ?

I'm new to all of this so if there is somewhere else that I should have posted this I apologize.

I recently bought my '08 SR5 and I don't have much money to spend on mods, but there are a few cosmetic things that I want to do.
I have already plastidipped my chrome black and my badges pink.
I plan to dip my wheels next. My original idea was to do them solid black..
But I saw zopperman had left his center caps silver when he dipped his wheels. That kind of made me wonder what it would look like to do basically the same thing on mine.. But do the center caps pink instead of silver.

I photoshopped a pic to get a general idea and I just wanted some honest opinions on it. I asked one of my friends what he thought of the idea last night and he didn't like it at all.. So now I'm wondering what you all think.

Thanks in advance for any advice/help you all can provide. :)

Here's the pic..

Well..... first thing I'd say is there is already absolutely no question about what gender is the owner of this truck ;):
And hey I don't have a problem with it overall, it's sort of like when you go to a gun show and some vendors are selling 9mm semi-auto handguns with a pink grip.
I guess the question is what is your objective? I think its one thing to do the emblems pink like you've done, but the pink centercaps I'd say is taking it a big step further... perhaps too much. I do like the all black wheels, so what you have at that point is; yes, we know there's a girl driving this thing but the black wheels say "this is still a tough beast on the road". But if you go with the full pink centercaps, it almost shifts the whole vehicle to a toy-like appearance... but hey you definitely have something unique.
This is just my two cents....

wait, that's it? ... I was expecting a pink roof rack. I mean come on! at least dip the center section of the roof rack on the sides to tie in the center caps... not joking. I think it'd look saweeet!...

might as well make the back emblem match the front too...

more pink!

can I call this the pink panther build?

I agree with grey ghost. What if you just painted the center caps black along with the wheels, but then painted just the emblem (on the center caps) pink?

Yes... Or you could do all black but just pink lug nuts... Or what about all black but a thin pink stripe along the rim of the wheel...

I like this idea too - it's a lot of pink. Not my thing, but to each his (or her) own.

Wow! Thanks for all the input guys!! :)
You're right, I'm definitely not a dude! But I'm definitely not a frilly prissy girl either!! HAHA
You made some awesome points grey_ghost. I definitely do not want a 'toy like' appearance. I am loving the idea of pink lugs! Thanks!!!
jtanner My very first idea for the wheels was a thin pink rim and pink emblems but after realizing what a PITA it is to tape something off with plastidip and get a decent line I gave up that idea. LOL

Thanks for offering an opinion zopperman since it was your bada$$ 4Runner that inspired my lame idea.. hahaha
NuclearN8 I never thought of anything with the roof rack.. LOL I'm still toying with the idea of upgrading it at some point but I think I'll keep it black. Like grey_ghost said, I still want it to be a beast.. Just a female beast. HAHA

Thanks again guys! :)

I like the idea of doing as others have said, either pink lug nuts, or pink emblem on wheels, or pink pin strip around wheels. Kinda keeping the pink subtle, but yet you still know the pink is there. Looks sweet tho, I like everything you've done so far! :bigok:
