I finally did my summer detailing yesterday after spending a few weeks getting stuff done to the truck (tires, shocks, did some painting). Since it's going to rain tomorrow I wanted to play and get some sexy shots while it's still insanely clean. It won't be this clean again until next summer.

I used Plastikote "Hot Rod Black".

I have to get that rusty bumper through another winter, and it was already flaking and rusting through no matter how hard I try. My shop recommended this because it sticks well, and can be touched up without blending the wrong way.

Black is the only other color than rusty red that hides the scabs. I might sand and paint the end pieces just to match them up, but it doesn't really matter. I just don't like anyone behind me in traffic judging me as a rust bucket.
