Im new to this site and been looking up alot on here im a full time mechanic and know alot about vehicals alot of you dont know me yet but i plan on doing alot of mods to my mud runner so far i have about 1500 in this 97 sr5 that has 230xxx on the body and 90xxx on the motor that came out of a 2002 right now i just want to post some pics of my rig and me playing around we havnt had alot of rain so not much mud around just doing some trail riding.

and just so you all know this is what she looked like when i got her for 700$ all work done buy me and yes it did run when i got. the guy i got it from thalt the motor had a rod nock me being a mechanic looked at it and found out it just needed a new muffler so i traded a car i had 700$ in for the rig

Welcome, some may give you crap about punctuation right off the bat, something to keep in mind. as far as your pictures, Nice except I am not feeling your blacked out corners unless, maybe if the wheels were darker/blacked out as well?

Gotta ask though... and I mean this with respect, could you use periods and commas? It makes reading things way easier.

Yea im horible with spelling and puncuation english was not my thing in high school im 26 and a 3 year old can write better than me and yea i plan on going with some black rims or painting these ones black. Just havent had the time yet.

That's a steal for $700! I think the blacked out lights would actually look pretty good if you threw some black wheels on there.

yea im removing pin striping blacking out the wheels and blacking out the emblems. So far i have put the micky thompson baja claws 31.10.50.15 panted the hood and fender, removed the mud flaps, destriped one side still working on the other side got some hid head lights, used bumper alittle beat up but only one i could find in my area. removed the cat and muffler and the shop that did it used a glasspack cant complain for 65$ thoe. I have alot of idea's for this rig and plan on keeping it a verry long time i will start a build thread when i start getinng parts together.

I have dark grey, almost black wheels with blacked out corners but thinking I'd like clears better.

Well here is the story. I purchased a 2001 mazda 626 for 700$ that lady i got it from said it needed a new water pump. I loooked it over and noticed that it was not the water pump that needed replacing its was the belts squeling. I then took that car and traded it for the 4runner to anoth idiot that thalt it had a bad rod nock. When you acelerate you would here what sounded like a rod nock. with some further looking over I noticed that the guts inside the muffler were rattling around thus making it sound like a rod nock. Running wise that was the only thing wrong with the rig. I had to paint the hood and fender and buy a front bumper. The guy that owned the rig was drunk and left it in drive when he got out. It rolled foward and hit a brick wall. No frame damage or core suport damage just cosmetic. He had already replaced every thing but the bumper so I picked one up for 25$ at a junk yard. Painted the hood and fender and did a few of my own things to it. I have to say this is my 1st toyota truck I have owned but have had lots of 4x4's and this 4runner is the best dam suv i have ever owned im in love with it hahaha. Like I said befor LOTS of mods to come.
