I searched and searched and found multiple threads that all tell you something different. I have an 04 sr5 and want to have my fog lights come on with my parking lights and stay on with the high beams. Exactly, what do I have to do?

got to love those J.A. writeups

we should be paying this guy a retainer....

 Thanks, and any questions on the write up let me know.

J.A., a couple of questions: 1. Seems like either mod 1 or mod 2 can be done together or separate, I would like to do just mod 2 so is that doable? 2. Do you have pictures showing the connection or how you connected in detail pin 16 and 17 of mod2?

The mod seems simple enough to do, but I'm not getting a clear picture in my mind of how to, not being electronic savvy.

Thanks.

Check out the links in my post near the start of the sticky "DIY mod" thread at the start of General Discussuions (not sure how to link to it.)

Yes 1 or 2 can be done independant of each other.

The details are all in this pic....you simply use a t-tap and put both wires # 16 and 17 in there and crimp down, no cutting needed. There is a piece of metal in the t-tap that pierces the insulation of the two wires and thereby jumpers them together.

Thanks guy's. Question on putting the wiring back in with the t-tap connector, any trick to it or will it just fit right in?

Depends on the T-Tap. Most have a plastic tab so the second wire (which is usually a cut end but in this case is not) has a stop and does not come out the back of the connector. You need to break that piece off so the uncut wire can exit the connector. It will be clear when you get the t-tap if you never used one before.
