Please help: 1st gen compatability question

I have a '84 4Runner and I've broken (yes broken) the passenger front leaf springs...
I need to replace it (and may as well replace the driver side, so they don't all me 'Ilean')...
the only salvage yard around me with anything close to my baby has a '90...I know it's a completely different gen, but anybody know if the leaves are swappable???

Only the factory straight axle pickups and SUV's would have the same solid front straight axle:

1981-85 pickups
1984-85 4-Runners
1980-90 Landcruisers (FJ/BJ/HJ 40 & 60/62 series)

therefore any of the above should have the same front leaf springs "but" if you look in your local yellow pages under "springs" you would find that most shops would replace the busted leaf springs for $20 each + $70 or so for labour.I had some broken ones replaced on mine before.
