i have a 1998 4runner the base model i think it;s (sr5)
trouble:every time i turn on the engine, white ALOT of white smoke would come out for 5 minutes. after it was i warm it up the car would stop smoking. at first i believed that it was normal thing. i took it to the shop and they told me it had a small leak in the head gasket. after they check the heads they found out that one of the heads had a small crack, so i go to the junk yard an got the left (driver ) head ..
to not make the story long.
2 of the pistons do not light up from the side of the "new head" .
would the "new head do not work" or can it be the timing?
all injectors do work and the all plugs light up too.
