PLEASE HELP 2000 Runner dead in driveway!

2000 4RUNNER V6 2 wheel drive 60k. Ok, here is the story that I got... She was driving down the interstate and heard a clunk! The truck started to slow with constant pressure on the gas pedal. She eased it over to the side and i get the phone call....HELP!!! So I get there and I put the car in Drive, nothing happend I tried every forward gear, and nothing! Tried with the O/D off and ECT off and nothing. Reverse didn't even do anything. While the truck was running in neutral it sounded like something was loose spinning and coming from the tranny. I don't know if this helps but in park it doesn't move. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.....

Well, you probably will get some better advice from other members who own that generation 4runner...but the first thing I would do is look under the truck to see if the driveshaft is still attached.
