Please help. Lift and tire questions. Advice please.

Ok so I am really wanting to do some stuff to the runner. I want to get rims tires and a lift. I think im going to get a spacer lift. About 2.5 or 3 inches. Do they make cornfed lit for 01 runners ? Im thinking of going with the daystar 2.5 inch lift. Pretty good ? I want to get bigger tires. I either want the cooper stt or bfgoodrich at. Pretty sure I want the bfgoodrich. Whats the biggest I can go ? What would you reccomend ? I also think I want the cragar soft 8 rims because there pretty cheap and look decent. What kind of backspacing would that be ? Sorry for the kinda long read but I need clarification. Any help is appreciated. Thanks..

From reading here it seems as though the 'old-style' Daystar is the favored lift for the 2.5/3" range, especially on the 4th gen.

The guys with BFG's tend to be pretty die-hard fans. The Cooper guys seem to like them too. I think that'll be a matter of preference. It really seems as though each tire is very good with long lists of pros and short lists of cons. I know 265/75/16's will work well. I don't know if modding is required for 285's.

Yeah the daystar lift is popular and cheap..about 150..I think ill go with the nitto terra grappler instead. Ive heard good things..

No complaints on the Nitto's. Are you planning on doing those mods for wheeling? If so, I would recommend practical rims, rather than expensive ones. I have chunks taken out of my stock rims from offroading. Maybe a nice pair of black steelies?

Mild wheeling. Nothing extreme. Mainly for looks. Yeah the cragar rims are basically black bullet hole rims. Nothig fancy. I cant decide what lift. The toytec with rear coils or just get the daystar..im getting some sliders made and i want a roof rack too..
