Please help me decide on Tires

I have to buy tires this week in order to pass inspection. The OEM goodyears have 54k on them and are terrible in the snow. I am looking for quiet ride, excellent hydroplane resistance, good snow performance and a decent looking tire. I never really off road but like the idea of an ATR tire.

My choices so far

Bridgestone Revo's
Toyo Open Country
Pireilli Scorpion ATR.

This is for a 2002 4Runner.

Which would you choose and why?

Thanks,
Steve

I've heard great things about the Revo's
performing well in everything

Toyos- dont know too much

Pirelli Scorpions - Look good, but i did manage to lose control and flip over on ice!

Based on what I know about tires, along with all responses on this forum, I don't think one tire will give you everything that you want. I have yet to hear about a tire that is quiet and great in both wet AND snow.

There are quite a few out there that are quiet and have good hydroplane resistance. I think that if you want good snow performance you would probably have to change out the tires in the winter to some dedicated snows.

I am in the boat of just wanting some decent tires and not the crappy Dunlops the Runnah came with.

I think I am either going to go with teh Yokohama Geolandar AT-S or (more likely) the Good Year Wrangler with Silent Armor. The GYs are mountain & snowflake rated. I think either would be a good choice.

You have to remember that there are many tires rates as "All Terrain" but are essentially bigger version of car tires. All depends on what youwant the truck used for.

The Revos are my third choice, but unlikely that I will get them given the other 2 choices.

Definitely check out the Discoverer ATR. I have them and they are great in snow, yet quite on the road.
