If I only had $800 dollars to do my lift I would order Bils front and rear from amazon for $360, front and rear OME springs (your choice on stiffness) for $320, and 2 of the 1/4th inch toytec spacers on amazon for 70. This will give you 2.5-3 inches on the front (depending on front coils you choose) and 2 inches on the rear. If you go with a light front coil (883 or 884) you can add the spacers and probably not need UCAs (expensive). This gives you the most lift and best ride in my opinion with future options since the bils are adjustable.

Total price - $750
Hidden costs - Alignment = $80-100; Install = ?; Tires = ?

I actually did the same thing with 885s in the front and toytec superflex in the rear plus a OME trim spacer in the rear for driver lean.

Have a look at the ProComp Nitro lift. There's a Toyota dealership in San Antonio that has partnered with my local 4WheelParts to install this lift on a bunch of 4Runners. Looks great. Not gonna be great off road, but if you're only going for looks, then it's a decent and cheap kit to get 3" lift front and 2" lift rear.

When I finally get around to installing a real lift (about to pay off a long-term loan... then a few months to save up) my default is a basic Billy 5100 + JBA UCA + Wheeler T13 rear springs. I like the reviews of Dobinson springs, and I'm big on function over form, but just couldn't get past the teal springs plus red UCA (JBA) and silver shock (Billy) combo. My very fashion conscious wife would refuse to ride in it. Something would have to get painted.

But I was debating skipping the 5100's and going straight to Billy 6120's anyway. If you come up with a reasonably priced mid-range full setup including adjustable F&R monotubes without remote resi (front and back) with design-matched UCA and springs for a reasonable price... that's my answer.
