Please help me verify/evaluate my post-lift-tire-alignment numbers

After quite a long delay (TL;DR;) I have my 4Runner back with its lift, tires, and a few other items.

The install centered on these parts:
  • 2015 Trail Premium with KDSS
  • 285 70 R17 KO2 Load E on stock Trail rims (17x7.5)
  • Camburg A Arms
  • Radflo 2.5s
  • Icon Rear Trackbar
  • RCI 5 piece aluminum skids
  • Customized BudBuilt Sliders (plating added)
  • Rear breathers

No rubbing or cutting at this time. I do feel under compression I will get some mudflap rubbing which will require some cutting in a few weeks. Driving at freeway speeds feels as solid as stock, no wandering or "feathery" feel. Can definitely tell the difference in the bumps/ruts with the radflos!

Please have a look at all these #s and tell me what you think. Any areas of concern, thumbs up, etc are greatly appreciated!!!

Empty Vehicle, 50% full gas tank. Measured pre/post lift in same spot in level garage the day of the job start/end (maybe 3 gallon gas delta). Armor/skid delta is at most 60lbs from stock take-offs.

Camburg A Arms Alignment:
  • left camber 0
  • left caster 2.5+
  • right camber 0.1-
  • right caster 2.8+
  • toe 0.08+
  • setback 0.41-

Tires:
285 70 R17 E KO2
  • 36 front PSI
  • 38 rear PSI

Wheel Diameter:
  • stock 30.25" (15.125rad)
  • ko2 32.0" (16rad)
  • 0.875+ height delta

Gross Fender Height (ground to bottom-center of fender)
  • front driver stock 33.95
  • front driver lift 36.95
  • front passenger stock 33.90
  • front passenger lift 36.80
  • rear driver stock 36.15
  • rear driver lift 39.25
  • rear passenger stock 35.90
  • rear passenger lift 39.25

Net Fender Height (Gross minus Tire Radius):
  • front driver stock 33.95 - 15.125 = 18.825
  • front driver lift 36.95 - 16 = 20.95
  • front passenger stock 33.90 - 15.125 = 18.775
  • front passenger lift 36.80 - 16 = 20.8
  • rear driver stock 36.15 - 15.125 = 21.025
  • rear driver lift 39.25 - 16 = 23.25
  • rear passenger stock 35.90 - 15.125 = 20.775
  • rear passenger lift 39.25 - 16 = 23.25

Net Lift Height Delta:
  • front driver 2.125+
  • front passenger 2.025+
  • rear driver 2.225+
  • rear passenger 2.475+

KDSS Lean Left to Right (Gross Height Deltas):
  • front 0.15+
  • rear 0.0

Rake Rear to Front (Gross Height Deltas):
  • driver 2.3+
  • passenger 2.45+

My assumptions from reviewing these numbers:
  • PSI needs to jump all-around to 42 for these load Es
  • Front lift has a good 1" to spare if I so choose for Rake purposes vs CV-angles

Thanks in advance!

I'll make a wild guess that you're a PC guy rather than Mac, but on a Mac at least, you can use option+J to make a delta symbol - ∆ - which looks WAY cooler and more scientifically authentic than spelling out the word "delta."

All your carefully assembled data show only that the truck is about 3" higher than when you started. The only meaningful numbers are your alignment specs. Ideally, you'd like to see a bit more caster, but at 3" of lift perhaps you're already maxed out even with the aftermarket UCAs.

More important to me than all those numbers would be: Do you like the way it looks? Do you like the way it rides and drives? If yes, then all the numbers are good.

Haha.....very detailed, I like it!

Looks good! I personally would crank the front up an inch or so from where it is now. Of course it's just my opinion, but I feel closer to about an inch of rake would look perfect.

You started out a little lower in the front as well, compared to a non-KDSS 4Runner.

Chrome is really weird about Alt Codes... otherwise I'd use them more often.

The alignment numbers look okay, though I would have liked to see Caster a little more even; but .3* isn't horrible.

I'd like to know what your thoughts were on choosing the Radflow's over the Toy Tech 2.5's.

As for your numbers, Id expect to see more caster (3+) with aftermarket UCA's.

To complete the off-topic discussion, on a Windows computer with a full keyboard + number pad: turn on number lock, hold the ALT key and type "127", then release the ALT key to get this: ⌂ Doesn't look exactly right, but it's supposed to be the Delta symbol. Hundreds of so-called "ALT Codes" available. °ø╚ƒσ▲↔▼↓→

Same comment.

Thanks for the feedback!

Per a few requests, this is my reasoning/goals for my setup/parts selection:
  • 33s to avoid regear or extreme cutting compared to 34/35s.
  • enough lift to clear 33s and extra future-added weight without overstressing CVs and hopefully not incurring kdss lean
  • progression shocks, not digressive. Had digressive on previous vehicle and was overly rough
  • rear track bar to hopefully help kdss system stay "balanced/centered"
  • Camburg A arms to provide proper alignment, plus moog joints for no/low maintenance
  • full skids to combat less lift height due to IFS
  • added plating to my BudBuilt bump-out skids. kids/adults would regularly step through the rear passenger skid hole! dont want a broken leg/twisted knee!!!

I feel like I've accomplished my goals with this project to date. Need to put on some real miles and let it/me settle in to have some real-world honest feedback.

Looks like I'll take it in for inspection and attempt a 3+ camber for both sides, and perhaps add 0.5" to the front height.

BTW, the front diff skid (with kdss spacing need) is now 11" from the ground.

Any thoughts on the 36/38psi vs 40 or even 42???
