I recently picked up a 1986 4runner for a great deal only problem is there is a fuel issue, to start off the 4runner was perfect running condition and then it was parked 1.5 years ago know it only is blowing the EFI fuse and won't start. I first checked my fuel pump and it didn't have any power (bad relay/fuse) so I ran a direct line to the pump to check it and sure enough I could hear it start up and pump fuel but still no start (since no fuse or relay) then I went a got a new relay since that sounded like the problem but still no fix, it is still just popping the EFI fuse, so I have a fuel pump that works when powered directly and a brand new EFI relay as well, but a damn blown EFI fuse that I can't get to work???? Please Please help I am hoping it is something real simple and easy

If it's been in storage, there's always the possibilty that some kinda varmit chewed the insulation on a key wire and it's grounding out. You'll prolly have to just get in there and do trace it, to know for sure.
