I just baught a 95 v6 auto on sunday. Truck only has 102,000 mi on it with
3" suspention lift and 33" cooper stt's with another set of 31" all terains. And it is currently not wanting to start. Within the last 12,000 mi it has had the head gasket done, heads rebuilt, all timing components done, and the water pump. Within the last 1500 mi the plugs, wires, distributor, cap have been done.
I baught the truck downstate MI and drove it home (about 3 hrs mixed highway and non highway) I had stopped several times since i picked it up and shut the truck off/turned it back on and no problems. I parked it that night and went to start it the next morning and it wownt fire up (it was also about 20 degrees in the morning and has been for the last few days) it was a bit warmer (somewhere around 37 when i baught it and drove it home). I did take it down some trails that night and got into a couple decent sized puddles but nothing rediculous. Engine compartment seems dry.
I checked the spark and that seems fine, (as it should be since the parts are new), air filter is dry and clean, when i turn the key on i can hear the fuel pump clicking (kinda sounds like a blinker) and its not "humming". I changed the fuel filter thinking it might be clogged but that didnt help at all. Fuses all are good and not blown.
The truck does have an arctic start 600r remote starter installed by the PO and im wondering if that is messing with it.
ANY ideas would really be appreciated as it is just sitting in my girlfiends driveway in the way of other vehicles
Thanks
