I'm not suprised...your typical Camry owner isn't a do-it-yourselfer 
But having said that, have you checked out Toyota Nation. I'm a memeber over their, its a forum for all Toyota's with subforums for each model. Some subforums are busier than others and while the 4runner one is farily dead I think the Camry and Corolla's ones ware more popular...it's worth a look anyways.

2001 Camry LE electrical problem, Please share any related problems. Chain of events, efforts, thoughts:
1. The car started having a low battery cranking problem. A boost always get it going it sits about 2 days or more (as if something is draining the batt).
2. It acted as if the alarm system had something to do with the batt draining issue. My wife felt the situation only occurred with the alarm on. Naturally the alarm went off when the Batt volts dropped. Once started and driving, the doors occasionally locked and unlocked, the alarm would go off, instruments would flicker showing open doors as they were not and etc indicating something was erratic.
3. Firestone said the electrical sys had to be checked before the alarm sys and the batt checked bad (also checked bad by the Dealer). We replaced the 5 yr old batt and electrical or alarm matters still exist. We have to slam doors to get the indicator off that indicate a door is open.
4. Is there an on-board computer or etc that needs resetting if it has lost some programming due to a battery issue or a grandkid playing with the key and etc?

I would first have the alternator checked for proper output and verify the battery voltage is above 12.6v Also is this alarm system a factory unit or aftermarket?
Has this vehicle ever been improperly jump started? i.e. reverse jumped?
Also, I would have your technician check the electrical grounds on the vehicle.
-Computer(s)/Module(s) ground to frame
-Frame to battery ground
-Engine to frame ground
-Accessible junction blocks for ground
I suspect this is going to end up being an issue with either the PCM itself, or a ground issue causing it go a little haywire.

Thanks for the follow-up info! I plan to follow up with the Dealer and locals SAE operated shops specializing in Camrys. I wanted to check some basics before going back to them since the Battery has been replaced.
1. The alt has always put out at least 13Vs (checked by me vs running off the batt IMO). I felt the other two techs saw the same but only mentioned that the batt is bad.
2. The intermitting issue falls in the short or bad ground areas IMO also and “Can Be A Bear To Find At Times”.
3. My question to the Qualified Techs and Others that has possibly seen these reactions (erratic indicator lights mainly now vs alarm sounding since the new Batt). “Is the computer programming/Etc out of the loop as being the problem from past experiences”? Then I’ll know to Ohm all the mentioned areas for a good ground.
4. My approach has always been to do my part before calling The Bank and High Techs. Which is a problem to keep up with today’s high tech areas on cars.
5. Finally, “IMO if the Bear is not causing any Real Harm Or Danger, Let It Sleep”, while researching, testing and looking for answers. I have seen some the dealer w/n spend the time or my money looking for or finding.

Thanks williamZ! I got a good instant reply on ToyotaNation. I’ll do some visual examining and ground/ohm testing and visit a highly recommended tech soon. The front passenger finder was hit in 06. I’ll look for any signs of damaged wires in that area and door. I’ll lean on the Tech’s experience also, they see much more in most cases (vs what an individual might not consider).
