plowing w/ a 4runner?

Whats up with it vanilla face?

Anyone here plow with a 4runner?
I have no intentions on plowing commercially, just my own driveway.
I have seen small lightweight plows on the market out there, anybody try them, or heard anything good or bad about plowing with a runner?

How long is your driveway? I just use a snow shovel for mine, but it is not that long.

With the cost involved in setting it up, you would be much better off with a snow blower. This is assuming your driveway isn't a mile long. Also, with the 4Runner, traction will become an issue if it does start getting deep enough, which means you have to get chains.

Lastly, if your driveway is a bit longer, I know some people use their 4Wheelers with plows (chains, of course).

My driveway is about 80 feet long. Paved and flat, with no garage to block me from pushing the snow into the backyard.
It would be an easy plow.

Still, setting up a ~$2000 system for an 80 ft. driveway is not that cost effective. You can get a snow blower for much cheaper.

Get a pull plow. It hooks to your tow hitch so its really simple for someone wanting to plow his own driveway.
