I know that a 3rd gen member has used it last year, but hasn't provided any details on the product and its efficiency.

I am wondering if it can actually help us with diagnosing various aspects like MPG's and the like or is it just a flashy gimmick? I can always go with the cheaper scanmaster units, but this looks a whole lot cooler!

PLX Kiwi Wifi - Connect your iPhone / iPod Touch to your car's OBD2 OBDII Port. and the iPhone software is REV or some others that I cant recall right now, but are on the website attached.

Has anybody on the 5th gen forums used this yet?

Also it would be interesting to get an opinion on Garmin ecoRoute HD Vehicle Diagnostics Communicator (via Bluetooth)
peared with a compatible GPS unit or Garmin Mechanic Android App.

Wow. So all of those gauges you mentioned will be displayed on any unit? (Assuming the unit handles the info)

I have it. I like it, but I dont think it will help you with MPG. It basically just reads all the OBDII info off the computer. So if you throw a trouble code, it will tell you what the code is and allow you to reset it. It also reads the computer to allow you to see what the O2 sensors are reading, MAF sensor, etc. etc.

It works very well for what it says it is supposed to do.

It is nice because it uses your iphone, so there is not another device laying around your car, but I would try that Ultraguage and see how it works. For that price, you cant really go wrong!

I have it. I use it with my torque app on my droid x, works great. If you have an android phone I'd recommend the app as well.
