Police Style Brush Guard?

Hey guys,

Does anyone have a police style push bar mounted to their 4th gen? Just protects the grille and radiator, with rubber bumpers... holds two lights in the center of the grill?

I'd like to see one mounted up... and if anyone knows what company makes one, that would be greatly appreciated.

It says in his build thread that it is a Hunter guard. Hope this helps

Yes! That is the one I'm looking at on ebay.. it's different than the one in the above pictures...
It has a bar across the top, in the center, and at the very bottom, so 3 cross bars total...
Looks like that Hunter one only has one cross bar??

As far as I know Hunter do not make them anymore and you are correct Hunter guard has only one cross bar. So when I had it on my truck I had to modify it by adding another cross bar and 2 more mounting points; it was recently sold: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/sale-t4r-items/96168-fs-push-bar-police-style.html

I think most of the police-style "push bars" have multiple mounting points. Be sure the one you're looking at on eBay won't just fold into your grill/radiator should you actually push something with it.

Yeah, I bought that one and haven't put it on yet. He had modified it some. I'll post pics when I get it installed. I had a minor fender bender and still deciding if I'm going to get the front bumper repaired. I don't want to put it on until after that.
