Pop in front end, many others posted but no answers
I have searched the threads and found several people posting the same symptoms but no one ever came back and said what it turned out to be afterall. When turning all the way usually to the right i hear a loud pop or clunk in the front end. It seems to come from the driver's side. Also when I slam on the brakes it seems to pop but not as badly when turning. The upper balljoints are dry and need to be replaced but someone said that they don't think this could be the cause of the noise. Any ideas? I think I am going to go ahead and replace the upper ball joints and a passenger side outter tie rod. Can't seem to find any replacements that have grease fittings though.
