Pop-in USB Data Port in Dash

I've got a project going on and I'm looking for a pop-in dash USB port to transfer data. All of the ones I'm seeing are for power, not data. It needs to have USB cables out the back, as opposed to the red/black power/ground.

Anybody have one to recommend that they've used? I'm trying to replace the usb/audio port in the middle dash under the stereo. Single or double USB will do the trick. :tea:

You could also modify a male-to-male USB cable to fit your existing OEM port. The linked writeup below is for a different part# but it'll give you the general idea. Several other solutions have been posted in that thread as well.

Yeah, I had my eye on that Amazon one. I wish they had the same exact one with dual USB and cables as opposed to the 3.5mm jack.

And yeah, I could modify the existing, but I'm attempting the cleanest install and want the ability to return to fully-stock. I'm all about rigging stuff up, but in this case I'm going for ease and would rather pay for something that fits perfect.

The Metra Aux/USB cable that cmoekim mentioned is an exact fit.

I wanted to add Apple CarPlay, so I swapped out the stock USB for the Metra. See photos below. The cover on the Metra is removable too.

Thanks for the super crispy photo, and the info. The head unit I'm installing has two USB cords coming off of it, so that's why I was looking for a double. I may just do two of these though, and add the second one to another open slots in the dash. There's one right over next to the right knee / ignition area that would be a good spot to put the USB stick with music :rockon:

Strange there aren't more exact fit options for our trucks.
