Dual USB Port for 2018 4Runner

What's up guys? Been wanting to add a dual USB charger to my 4R and kept seeing this one pop up..Based on the reviews it looked like it would work on my 2018.

Pulled the panel off and went to swap in the new USB port and the factory plug from the harness to new USB harness won't plug in..They're not even close..

Assuming the box was mislabeled or something..

I might be wrong, but I believe that item is NOT to replace your USB port. It goes in a blank, but that pigtail is to tap into the cigarette lighter, that's next to the usb port. Power only; no data-connectivity

Yeah, go to the 3:00 minute mark. He even said you'll lose the aux input, and that the pigtail is going to the cigarette lighter. Power only.

Like the product, but wish it was USB-C

Didn't mind losing the aux port since I only use bluetooth..

I went with the OEM dual USB quick charger option. Replaced the cig lighter charger in the armrest compartment.

Got quick charge USB plug when I bought mine that I keep plugged in there, but that's a good idea..

Guys, I'm embarrassed, should have paid closer attention to what [MENTION=144110]trapshot68[/MENTION] said..The plugs from the new harness only go to the one on powerpoint, the other plug is left hanging..:embarassed::embarassed:

It works...

Man I feel stupid..I've installed the pedal commander and the accesorides autostart, this should have been a snap..
