What's the mileage and what else in the vehicle is modified besides the shocks & springs; the video was a good idea but doesn't allow the forum any Peripheral advantage i.e. can't pinpoint exactly where the sound is coming from! Rgds
 
25,000 miles. Mods include sliders, front bumper lr ucas

How recently were suspension mods done? If you haven't already, I'd grab a torque wrench and have a once over all of your suspension's fastening bolts:

My experience: I had a very similar sound which would loudly click under conditions like those you described. I found my driver's side Camber Adjust fastening nut wouldn't stay torqued properly. It would loudly click, I'd re-torque, it would be silent, then the click would eventually come back. This continued until I installed a new bolt and nut in the Camber Adjust Assembly. I haven't heard the click or touched any hardware since.
 
Most likely your lower control arm bolt.

I had the exact same sound, took me forever to find out what it was.

Torque it down and my sound went away and has never come back since.

Had aligned today because of a pull to the right and asked them to check these. everything reported as ok and I confirmed. Still pulling right, still popping:wtf::wtf:


to top it off, i see this when I'm under there. Does this look cockeyed to ya'll?

Appears whoever installed your lift used a pickle fork TRE separator and destroyed your TRE boot. Time for a new one and another alignment.

In addition to your TRE needing a replacement, looks like your coilover might be leaking as well.

As much as i'd like to believe your alignment guy, i'd check the LCA bolt yourself. Make sure its tight, as there are a handful of us that have had the exact same popping noise. All connected to the LCA bolt.

Thats WD-40, I was adjusting my coilovers before my alignment
 
That popping is 100% the LCA bolts not being tight enough.

They need to be torqued down to around 130 lb ft. (Tight!!)

Every time they make that popping noise, they are changing the alignment spec too.

Go get it aligned (again) and have them tighten those LCA bolts to spec.

Thanks for reporting back....

Lately there have been many people posting questions.... Taking the feedback, and then never even bothering to come back and inform everyone what the final outcome was.

It's really irritating and self centered. Glad you are not one of those people ;-)
