Popping when turning....

I have a 2005 SR5 100,000 miles. Think I have a CV joint or ball joint issue.
Loud hollow (single) popping when I accelerate from stop. Sometimes when turning or going over sizable bumps.
Any ideas where a good place to start would be?
Any help is oh so appreciated.

Is everything still stock? Unless you have done alot of off-roading with a lift, I can't imagine the cv's or ball joints having a problem at only 100K miles. Sounds more like something related to your drive-train if it is doing it when accelerating from a stop. Either way, I would suggest taking it to a dealer and having it checked before it develops into a real major issue.
