Hello everyone,
I have a couple of issues with my car right now... Unfortunately I have not received any replies for a week...
I originally posted all of my car issues in the new member section, but I guess no one really reads there.
Some info about my car:
2005 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6
-102,1xx Miles as of today
Whenever I'm driving about 40mph or lower, my car makes some kind of popping/whirring/rubbing noise. This happens whenever I let off the gas. I first thought that the sound was coming from the rear passenger side, but I cannot even tell anymore. The sound goes away if I use the accelerator, or if I'm braking. If I am braking, the popping noise comes around when I'm almost at a full stop.
Any idea what it could be? I've read that it may be the rear differential, or a wheel bearing, or maybe the tires eventually needing replacement.
I replaced the original set of tires at 30k, only because I kept getting a flat on a particular tire. I'm about to replace them in 8k miles.
Any help would be appreciated!
