Positive/Negative/No Rake as Your Rig Sits Now

I've got Bilstein 5100's installed and netted 2 1/8" lift on the 3rd setting. *supposed to only provide 1.75".

Rear is still stock and the rear fender height is about 1/4" lower than the front.

The frame from front of rear tires compared to the front of the frame is 1/2" lower.

Trying to decide if I should lower the front to the second setting and leave the rear alone or if I should lift the rear but I can't decide how much rake I want to have. Would 1" rear rake look crazy? I can't remember what it was before the lift.

I like the back a little higher. Looks better than level to me and just seems more practical. When you load up the back with junk/stuff, it will either stay a bit higher or level out, but won't end up squatted. If you're level, than it may squat a tad when loaded up.

I just measured and mine and the frame rail is more or less level, and I like the way the body line angles down a tad but that's just me. I measured just in front of the rear link and just behind the body mount under the side mirrors

How long have the bilsteins been on? It’ll take a few weeks, 100 miles for it to settle. Mine was pretty level with the original springs at the 3rd setting, but I went to 5th gen springs and took the front down a notch

I agree with slight negative take in case towing or weight back end

On the third day now about 30 miles. Good to know they will settle more. I almost went and did an alignment the next day and I'm really glad I didn't.

I marked all the cam bolts bef6 I loosened the lower control arms and everything stayed the same when I tightened everything back up according to my marks.

I know now that the angles are different this is alignment still needs to be done but I'll tell you what it goes down the road perfectly straight. there is no wandering on the highway either which I was worried about because I've read about people losing a lot of caster when lifting.
