Possible 1989 4Runner

I may be buying a 1st gen 4Runner, and only need a few parts off of it. Just wondering if anyone's interested in buying parts off it or the whole rig once I get my parts. It's a 4x4 with manual locking hubs, and the 5 speed manual transmission. Motor has a knock.

Is it IFS? I may be interested in somethings we would just have to figure out shipping costs.

I bet for sure someone will take the manual hubs. Those things are worth their weight in gold to some. Unless that's the part you are taking off!

does it have a solid axel (that looks like the rear end) in the front? If not and it is actually IFS id be interested in the front diff and hubs. The Auto hubs have a different front diff then the manual hubs.

just so you know the hubs wont work on our trucks. you need tacoma hubs.

85 was the last year of the solid front axle. Looks like a nice 1st gen, be a shame to part it out even with a rod knock.

I really only want the roll bar and transmission, but figured some other users on here might want parts too.

I don't know yet, I'm looking at it in person tomorrow and will get back to you.
Just to clear things up IFS= independent front suspension correct?
