Possible another spare tire question that has probubly been asked 100 times...

Is it bad that my spare tire (285 70 R17) contacts the panhard bar under my 4runner? It isn't a hard contact, just slightly tight between the rear frame and the panhard bar. Raising and lowering it, it doesn't require "force" to get it in and driving it around "town" seems fine. Just want to be safe.
