Possible Bud built group buy

If I get one I can grab yours too and meet you to make the swap. I go up to Bellingham, WA all the time and definitely plan to make some summer Squamish trips.

You think IZZ will want one too? Havent seen him around lately.

Do we know the pricing yet? I may be in depending on the price.

Not yet I am going to call in a bit and let bud know how many we have right now. We could have a bunch more I think if we leave it up a few more days I think though. I posted it up in the other gen's to see if they were interested too.

Yeah, you have to go into the Random Pictures thread to find him. I'll send him a text to see if he's interested.

Oh and I'd be interested in a 1/8th thick IFS skid.

Opening up to other forums

Hey jmt2420, if you haven't already you might want to open this up to ttora, yota tech, and 120 forums if you want more bargaining power.
Just a thought.:jump:
Oh, and based on length of California we probably want to split CA into North and South, since we're talking about 400 miles in some cases. As I mentioned before, I don't mind storing some for people that need to schedule a pick up drive.
thanks

I posted it in Mo4wd.com forum to see if I could generate some midwest interest! Keep you posted

Absolutely, i would but i am not a member over on the other ones.

um in think budbuilt is from north carolina, so it would probably be best for you to just pick them up directly from him... just a thought...

I am in for a group buy. What is the group price for some budbuilt. We should get a Raliegh group together and have some one do a roadtrip. Whose in?

I'm interested in what the price is going to end up. That will be the determining factor for me. All you high rollers with your 5th gens wanting full skids, damn money tree farms. Share the wealth!!

From my last edit:

OP: suggestion, you may want to create a shared spreadsheet (Google Docs?) with name on the left, options across the top. Options include the steel width, powercoating y/n, IFS drop bracket lift Y/N, etc. May also want to define the 4 or so areas for shipping: SoCAL, PacNW, Central, NorthEast, South. PM me if you need any help.

Doing this should reduce your effort as well as Bud's when reviewing what to build/ship.

Good idea. Will do. I work tomorrow all day and I am not sure if I will be able to get it done on the computers at work (army computers). THe next chance I'll have is friday during the day sometime. I will call bud tomorrow though and talk business with him. I tried today but no answer, I left a message so we will see.

Go hard! Start by asking for 50% off then compromise at 25%! Just kidding but can you ask them build time, if its 2 weeks or longer ask if they would accept half up front and half when its done. That would help make it fit more budgets.

Lol, I will do my best with the negotiations.

As far as payment plans are concerned I think the best way to manage it is to set up a discount code with bud that everyone on this list will know or anyone else for that matter. My guess is that the code will be for a limited time only. So when you go to buy it from him you personally deal with him and get exactly what you want.

1/8" skid plate would almost be iED proof.
