Possible fix for running board lights not working

Hey guys,
Seen a few issues on here w/ the running board lights not working...a couple drivers side related, which is also what I had. So I took mine apart and found the wiring fried where they meet up in the middle. Cut out and added some new wire, all was well. Just thought this might help others as well.
