I have the opportunity to purchase a 1996 4 Runner Limited, it has higher mileage and is in great shape, it has been taken wonderful care of and I would be the third owner. It seems that everything has been kept up to date and changed and serviced as needed. I guess my question is, is 270,000 miles to many should this scare me off? It's a Toyota so high mileage is not a problem right?

Toyotas have incredible reliability. If it was well taken care of, so much the better. One area to be concerned about is the timing belt. It should've been replaced at least once, if not more. Check to see if this has been done and when. It may be due again. And welcome to the forum!:biggrin1:
