Possible Suspension Issue

My 2003 V8 SE seems to be leaning to the drivers side. Before you make any wisecracks saying "maybe its the fatass in the driver's seat", know that the vehicle is mostly used for just goin to work and maybe some highway mileage and im 6-1, 200lbs...not some obese dude that has a collection of McDonalds wrappers in the backseat.

I went outside and measured the height to the edge of the wheelwell to the ground, and the drivers side is about 1 inch lower. Ive been hearing a slight rattle when i pass over normal road bumps at slow speeds but not at fast ones.

Would there be some telltale signs if it was the XREAS having isses? Or maybe one of the shocks needs to be replaced?

How many miles are on it?
Completely stock suspension?
Any work on the suspension in the last year or so?

The springs hold the weight of the vehicle, so it'd be an issue with them rather than the shocks I think. You have the driver, the battery, and the gas tank on the driver's side. All of this extra weight can cause the springs to sag over time, more on the driver's side than passengers side. To offset this, the driver's side spring in a tad longer. If any suspension work was done, it's possible the springs got swapped left to right, thus causing the lean. I accidently had my springs swapped when I put the FJ setup on, and I had this issue, about an inch lean. Just a couple thoughts, I may be way off, but it's a good place to start.

My 07 is about a 1/2 to 3/4 off right to left I think they all are.

Nope, no suspension work. Only had the 75k service done about 2 weeks ago, the usual tire rotation and checks done (at least thats what they said) and about 1 month ago had the front calipers replaced n pads all around. The tank is full pretty much, and maybe i could stand to lose a couple pounds. :hungry:

It's typical to have a small difference, but I'm not sure 1" is what I'd expect. I had 130k miles on mine and not that much difference, but that doesn't mean much. Are measurements the same front/rear?
