Possible to adjust tilt of power side mirrors?

Looking for help with my side mirrors. I have a 2004 4runner and the passenger side power mirror doesn't adjust out far enough for me to see the road well. When I adjust it outwards before I lose line of sight of my car it starts clicking and won't go any further. So all I can see in half of the mirror is my own car. Is there a way to adjust the amount that it rotates out? It will turn all the way in towards the car to where I can almost see myself. Any help would be appreciated.

check the mirror for possible jam, you might need to reseat the mirror and start all over.

No jams. All clear. Just not too comfortable pulling on the mirror to take it off. Feels like it will just snap and that is a whole other problem...

look for muth signal mirrors, theres directions on how to remove the stock mirror, im pretty sure thats what you want to look at, remove the old mirror off and reseat the mirror back in.

Stupid question... did you just push the mirror all the way to the left gently until it won't go any further (it will click/ratchet a bit) and then tried to adjust the mirror again and see if you get your full range of motion?

Yeah I tried that. The range just isn't that of the driver's side. Here are pics of both sides tilted as far out(away from respective side of car). The passenger side is almost flush with the casing(and that's from my pushing it as far as it will go) while the driver's side has a good amount of gap. The passenger won't adjust any further. When I try it pops back inward.
