Possible Water Issue

Not sure if this belongs in GD or Maint section so mods feel free to move as needed.

Needed to wash my 07 to get the salt off of the vehicle. Here in Ohio they are pretty big on using salt in high quantities so I wanted to get underbody cleaned up a bit as well.

Didn't have any cash on me for my normal use of a finding self stall to clean vehicle off so I went to the dreaded drive through where they accept a cc. Their sprayer for the rinse fires the water out very violently and it moves pretty fast over spraying what I feel is more water than most.

After I exited I could hear a lot of what seemed to be water swishing around around my head and the sunroof. I didn't see any water coming from there, but did see some water running down each side by the floorboard area. I assume when turning the water ran down from the track through the area of the side curtain airbags to the bottom floorboard area.

I pulled over and opened the sunrrod and could see what appeared to be a small resevoir in the front of the sunroof area below the wind deflector that pops up. The area and tracks seemed to be greased up still so I assume the functioning of the sunroof and seal is okay. As I understand it there are tubes from the track that feed water away?

Question is has anyone had this occur to them and is it just a mere condition of too much water being fired by the drive thru where the drainage system in the track couldn't keep up or could I have an issue with something being clogged up or a possible seal issue?? Again I have never noticed this before when doing a normal power wash from a self stall and in the summer I have even used this same drive thru wash as well with no issues noticed before.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

I still have the OEM Sport roof rack for an 07. I just purchased in Aug and have not used or adjusted it except to make sure the cross bars were tight as to not rattle any.

Is there any easy way to remove the covers and check anything out? Anything in particular to be looking for once the covers are off?

I have had several heavy rains this fall where the vehicle was both driving trough and sitting outside and have not noticed any leaks before.

I believe I have narrowed it down.

I used a hose and a normal pressure washer from the local self serve and I believe the spray from the particular drive thru I went to had so much pressure it pressed down the seal around the sunroof causing the tray inside to overflow severely.

I could not get this to happen when holding the hose on the sunroof for minutes which would usually mimic a very hard downpoor. As one knows the sunroof system is designed to be a "controlled" leak and it filters off through the drainiage system via the front two holes in the resevoir tray.
