possibly buying 84 4runner, few ?'s

I am looking at an '84 4runner, it appears that the engine is the 22r and not 22re. What are the big differences between the two engines?

Are there any things to look out for ecpecially rust spots (other than behind the rear wheels on the fender)? Thanks!

22r is carburated and the 22re is fuel-injected. Both are extremely reliable! Hope you get it!

you should definatley check out the frame of the truck as it may be rotted.
